Cab fare to Condo del Mar at Colibri Condominiums in Bucerias is
approximately $20.00 - $35.00 US, from the airport or downtown.
Always negotiate the cost of the cab up front as
there are no meters. Let the taxi
stand at the airport know that you want to go to Bucerias.
To
take the bus to Condo del Mar from the airport,
cross
the bridge (walkway over the road) and wait
at the bottom of the stairs for the Compostela bus.
The bus will stop for you. Take a
bus that has "Bucerias", "La Cruz" or "Punta
Mita" written across the front windshield.
If
you are driving, there is a
new 4 lane highway all the way past
Bucerias. From the Airport, follow the signs to Highway 200 or
Compostella to Tepic. You will drive about 15 kms (12 miles) or 15
minutes to Condo del Mar in the Colibri Condominiums building. Complete directions will be provided with
your arrival documents, once your final payment has been received.

Please note: The map is not
quite correct as it shows "Mezzogiorno Restaurant" as being on the
grounds of the Colibri Condomininums property, when in fact, this
upscale Italian restaurant is actually located next door to the
building, directly on the beach.
The Colibri Condominiums building
is the property with four (staggered) red tiled roofs (with secure
parking area behind the building) and the dark blue "piano" shaped
pool right at the ocean's edge. Condo del Mar is #401 in the
building (with an elevator) and is located on the northern most
section of the building (red tiled roofs) and is next door to the
landscaped beach access, marked as "La Puntilla" on the satellite map.

is located just 12 miles (15 minutes) north of the Puerto Vallarta Airport
The driving time between
Punta de Mita, the most westerly point on the Bay (north
coast) and Mismaloya, just past Los Arcos (south Zone
Vallarta), is approximately 90 minutes, depending on
traffic.
Banderas Bay
(Bay of Flags) is a horseshoe-shaped bay theorized to have
been formed by an ancient volcanic crater. Banderas Bay
measures nearly 20 miles across with over 40 miles of
coastline and is considered one of the deepest bays in the
world with depths of up to two miles. With its deep, calm
waters, Banderas Bay offers some of the best sport fishing
in the world. Humpback whales, dolphins, sea turtles and
giant manta ray are also inhabitants.
